The Fairfield Inn by Marriott in Rohnert Park, California was delivered in a market facing an acute construction crisis. The region had lost a significant number of hospitality rooms in the devastating Northern California wildfires, while simultaneously experiencing rapid growth driven by a new commuter rail connection to San Francisco. Demand for hospitality beds was high — but the regional construction trades were stretched beyond capacity from the ongoing rebuilding effort.

The developer recognized that conventional construction simply wasn't viable in this environment. By engaging Proset and utilizing pre-manufactured hotel suites, the project mitigated the regional labor shortage and delivered a completed Marriott-branded property to a market that urgently needed it. The result was a $16 million project completed in March 2021 — on time and to brand standard in a market where conventional timelines would have been impossible.
