1888 MLK Apartments

Tasked with constructing a six-story mixed-use development on a downtown Oakland site that is an island, with busy city streets on all sides, this developer intelligently reached out to the modular community for a solution. With a unique design and challenging logistics, our team was able to work through a pre-construction process to find answers to these hurdles and present a program to the developer to make his vision a reality. By moving a significant portion of the required labor out of this challenging location and into a manufacturing facility, the modular technology was the key to the viability and constructability of this project.
